Happy Bastille Day! I admit that I only mentioned the holiday so I could use "allons-y" as a title, but since I've got a post going, I'll throw in this clip from Funny Face about being a tourist in Paris. Enjoy the worst accents ever, Fred Astaire, and Paris in 1957.

Love the film and love the lead actors separately. But the romantic pairing of Astaire and Hepburn always seemed wrong.
Gotta say though, I cannot get enough of the basal metabolism dance in the club.
And I love her pants and loafers combo in that scene. (Actually, I love all the clothes in the film.)
